Flooring

11/21/17: They were working on the floors. They have the 2nd floor carpet up, and have put down stuff, as necessary, to smooth and even the floors out.  Said there was a low spot in the bedroom, but the rest of the floors were level (except for the spot by the desk upstairs).  Both closets are stripped. Also, they are now tearing up the downstairs wood.

11/22/17: They had almost all the floor taken up. Removed the railing upstairs. All the wood on the stairs is gone (except for one small piece under the downstairs railing). There's a slice still by the door by the wall where the TV was, and they were taking up the kitchen (one guy) and the bathroom (the other) when I came in the front door.

11/24/17: The main downstairs looks pretty good.  They have taken up the flooring and smoothed out the
glue pretty well on much of it; still have to work over by the TV.  For some reason, they have still left the
actual flooring down in the corner.  Also a bit of flooring in the bathroom.  The slab itself looks problematic
between the cat's feeding place and the counter, like it's been broken up and sorta re-poured.

Attic Flooring

In 2009 I added flooring to the area around the attic access in order to make the area usable for storage, easier to access, and to keep the insullation from falling into the closet when the access is opened. I bought the wood placed around the opening for $50 from Home Depot, as well as used wood from Dad. Dad helped me size and secure the wood.

Garage Storage

In December 2009 I secured wood to the wall of the garage, painted the wood, and added hooks to hang tools and store other items. I bought the supplies from Home Depot for $37.99. Dad helped me size the wood and secure it to the wall. Dad and Lauren helped me paint the wood, and Dad helped me add the hooks.
